the big day: kelly + terrell
wow- i don't know where to start, there are so many pictures to post! i can always start with shoes!
kelly designed the programs and invites herself since she is a graphic designer. my favorite invitations ever! the beautiful custom ring bowl is by paloma's nest on etsy.
k+t made their milled palladium wedding bands while they were in california over the summer. seriously- how cool is that. they used blowtorches.
kelly's engagement ring was custom designed by a jeweler in chapel hill, the stone belonged to terrell's great grandmother.
they commissioned nc folk artist, vollis simpson , to make them a whirligig for their wedding day. his work can also be seen at the nc museum of art and at the american visionary arts museum in baltimore.
okay, on to the people! k+t are great jumpers. actually, they have pictures of themselves jumping all over the world.

during the ceremony each member of the bridal party read from "i like you" by sandol stoddard warburg. very sweet. rev. kayelily officiated.

there were crayons so that you could draw on the tablecloths. this one was my fav.
k+t rented an honest to goodness real photobooth. so fun!
k+t dated for 9 years, so they had 9 cakes. these were the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen! props to kim bloomfield, cake maker extraordinaire- martha would be jealous!
kelly made the cake toppers
the barn at valhalla was an awesome venue, it was super casual and relaxed.
