welcome to the world harlem!  a big congrats to carmen, kirk and big brother klei as they welcome their new little man to the world.

this is one of my all time favorite newborn shots!!

just for fun, this last shot is a photo from klei’s newborn shoot 5 years ago.  they look so much alike!

i absolutely love that klei showed up for carmen’s maternity shoot in his pirate costume.  : )  and i love that carmen is the kind of mom that embraces her son’s creativity.

carmen looks absolutely beautiful as she and her sweet family gets ready to welcome another baby to the world!

i loved working with this family on their red, white and blue inspired shoot.  the carter’s are celebrating a few milestones this year.  their sweet baby boy is turning one and their big baby girl is heading off to her senior year in high school.

this family shoot is as yummy as a slice of apple pie.  check out a few of my favorites.

heather and i went to high school way back when.  it was so much fun to meet her husband and their little sweetie pie.  little MB has the most beautiful big brown eyes.  

foster is a sweet little guy!  it has been so much fun watching him grow over the past year.  it seems like i was just shooting his mommy’s maternity photos and here he is already turning 1!

i am loving my new chalkboard that i have out at the farm.  (thanks uncle charles for building it!)

i have been photographing josh for years.  this year he looks soooo different.  he has officially shifted from a little boy into mr. cool.

this kid is going to be a total heart breaker!  i am in love with his sweet smile and his freckles, not to mention his super-cool sense of style!

i had some summer fun on the farm with the creech clan.  it made me so happy when momma creech said, “you actually brought tears to my eyes with some of these shots”.

way back in january i TRIED to do a little photoshoot with the kids for their valentines day cards.  i think they thought it was pretty fun and funny, but i was not amused…..

this photo sets the mood for the shoot.

i managed to get a couple cute shots, but this “session” demonstrates exactly why i get other photographers to photograph my kids!

eliza was totally in to the shoot and being a “model”.  ryder, on the other hand, was totally in to being 2!
