i absolutely love that klei showed up for carmen’s maternity shoot in his pirate costume. : ) and i love that carmen is the kind of mom that embraces her son’s creativity.
carmen looks absolutely beautiful as she and her sweet family gets ready to welcome another baby to the world!

we met erin and matt a few years back when they got married. their wedding was a beautiful charleston affair that started at the citadel and ended up with a great party in the heart of downtown. since then erin has started her own photography business. i must say that i am very proud of her! she does beautiful work. check out her site here: erin sage photography. now, she and matt are expecting! i was so excited to go back to charleston to hang out with them at the lovely boone hall plantation and shoot some maternity photos.
erin is one gorgeous mamma to be!

Meet Darci, of the awesome wedding blog With This Ring! She just moved from Chicago and lives in our neck of the woods now! I am super excited to meet her little bean!
Mad props to her (very patient) hubby for painting these awesome stripes in the nursery!

it was so much fun catching up with my old friend from high school (i will not say how many years it has been!). it was great to meet his lovely wife and his adorable son. and, they have a new bundle on the way!

this is one of my favorite mother/son photos ever! i wish i had one just like this of me and my little ryder-man.
i can’t wait to meet the new bambino!

can you tell who is my most willing model these days? liza runs when she sees the camera!
i can’t decide which one of these to print. i like the first one so much, but they are both looking off to the left at their poppy. the second one is cute, but i do not love eliza’s hand. what do you think?
