rachel and chris had a beautiful wedding celebration at the pines in elizabeth city. the breeze was blowing off the water, there were big puffy clouds, tears of joy, and lots of singing and good times!
the purple + turquoise peacock theme was fun to shoot! celebrations of elizabeth city did the design and flowers.
aiden is such a sweet little boy. i love this little guys hair!

way back in january i TRIED to do a little photoshoot with the kids for their valentines day cards. i think they thought it was pretty fun and funny, but i was not amused…..
this photo sets the mood for the shoot.
i managed to get a couple cute shots, but this “session” demonstrates exactly why i get other photographers to photograph my kids!
eliza was totally in to the shoot and being a “model”. ryder, on the other hand, was totally in to being 2!

i fell in love with the flowering trees and bushes in the park for this shoot and milo’s sweet little personality. look at this face….serious cuteness going on here!

emily and john had a huge down home affair to celebrate their big day. they tied the knot at emily’s family church. the pastor that baptized her came back to preform the ceremony (how sweet!). the flower girls and ring bearer wore vintage dresses and a shorts set. they were so adorable. emily and her flower girls looked like an estee lauder ad! the wedding reception was held on the lovely layton family farm under a HUGE tent. good food by kelly’s resturant and good music by the risse band had the guests hopping on the dance floor all night long! the cake table was a trailer from the farm. emily traded in her mina heels for her cowboy boots and she and john made their getaway on the tractor under a full moon.
