i just want to take a moment to give mad props to all the mommas of the world.  it is hard work being a good mommy! 

making the switch from no kids to one kid was no big deal.  eliza was a super easy baby.  this time around is a different story...taking care of a 5 year old that is home for the summer, figuring out how to deal with a baby with colic and reflux, and working from home is a bit of a challenge. 

here is a snapshot of my day...eliza got into my makeup while i was feeding ryder.  ryder is a sweet little thing when he is not crying (which is not often).  dealing with ryder's colic and reflux is one of the biggest challenges i have ever faced as a parent.  it is a horrible feeling to be so helpless when your little baby is screaming their head off.  i just keep telling myself that it could be worse.  luckily he is healthy and he will grow out of this (sooner than later, we hope!).

meet one of the most awesome families in greensboro!  we had a blast jumping on beds and swinging through the trees on our photo session with the jones family.
